The MK Fund™
“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” -Mahatma Ghandi
We must be stewards. Not only protectors of our corporate culture, our assets, and most importantly our employees and our relationships, but caretakers on some level of the environment and the communities in which we are present.
- Mission: To build long-term partnerships and increase the affectivity of grassroots organizations that seek to protect and promote the diverse values of the outdoor lifestyle and the communities in which MK is present.
- Vision: Year after year, Mountain Khakis will be a champion of supporting grassroots organizations working to protect and enhance the communities where MK is present and the environment as a whole.
- Values: At Mountain Khakis, we are committed to the highest standards of ethics and integrity. We are responsible to our customers, to MK employees and their families, to the environment we inhabit, and to the communities we serve worldwide.
Each year, the MK Family rallies to consider the many organizations we wish to support. To date, we've proudly supported countless organizations and benefit events through donations and in-kind contributions. Among them are:

Team Smartstop presented by Mountain Khakis teamsmartstop.com/
In partnering with grassroots organizations that work in the trenches to protect and preserve, we foster a commonality. By giving, we fill a void that might otherwise exist. We become part of an ethical center and locate our purpose in society. And ‘grassroots’ because revolutions don’t start at the top.
We are unified with these organizations, giving us a sense of purpose and working toward a high-level, exterior, common goal that aligns with our internal corporate goals. In turn, as Mountain Khakis works to identify our ethical responsibilities, we have the ability to inspire our employees and relationships to respond to their own.
“We are the people we have been waiting for.” –Navajo Medicine Man
