Rise Above It with MK.

Field Report: “I recently bought a pair of the M's Lake Lodge Twill pants. I use them primarily for rock climbing when the weather is a little too chilly for shorts. I wanted to say that while this is probably not their intended use, they are the best pants I have ever found for the job. Its very hard to find a pair of pants that can hold up to the abuse of climbing, but also have that little bit of stretch for unrestricted movement. Thanks so much for the great pair of pants, and keep up the good work. You now have another dedicated follower, and I will continue to recommend your pants to all of my friends.” -E. Walter

    • I really wanted to like these pants- they seemed at first to have everything I typically look for: nice color, solid stitching, quality fabric with just enough stretch. However, I can't seem to figure out how to wash/dry them without having them come out extremely wrinkled. Maybe this is user error on my part, but I definitely prefer clothing that comes out of the dryer looking nice without any extra effort. Also, they seem a bit shorter than how they are sized. I wear a 32 in every other brand of pants, but these are on the edge of being too short, especially after the first wash. In retrospect I wish I had gone with a 34 instead. Overall, I would only recommend these pants if you can try them on in person (assume they will shrink noticeably in length), and don't mind dealing with the wrinkles.
