    • Like the originals, but urban cool
    • 5 out of 5 Bison
    • I've got two pairs of Original Alpine Utilities. Pants just haven't worn better than these. The fabric got softer, but not weak and they have pretty much replaced blue jeans for day to day wear. My only complaint: a little TOO much room in the crotch. Stop snickering and pointing fingers. Please. Seriously. Grow up. Anyhow, if it weren't for the MC Hammer effect, I would've stuck with the Originals. I was cyber-loafing through the website and saw these Broadway fit pants. That's when the light bulb went on - I could wear Alpine Utilities in my work cubical! I ordered them and the pants went on like butter (almost - I have a 33" inseam and needed to hem them shorter first). They have plenty of give for office work - walk to the coffee machine, the copier, and my car. The waist isn't snug, but just right. After a few wash and wears, the pants just fit like they were made for me. To me, these are every bit as awesome as the originals, but just a bit better for those days when you're stuck on concrete instead of dirt.

    • Everyday pants
    • 5 out of 5 Bison
    • I wear these pants just about every day and have several pairs in different colors. The fit is great! The fabric can get faded and a bit brittle after a while, but in gneral they tend to have a pretty good life. My only real complaint is that you don't have a good khaki color (the closest, yellowstone, is a bit too yellowy for me - close to what a construction worker might wear - rather than a nice khaki color.

    • THE go-to pants
    • 5 out of 5 Bison
    • I've bought these pants about two months ago and could not be happier. I really like the broadway fit and prefer it to the regular fit for everyday use around town. These have been my go-to pants, so much so that I actaully had to ask my wife if she minded me wearing the same pants six days in a row. She said she didn't as long as they didn't smell, which they did not so I was good to go. They fit quite snug through the hip at first, but within a few wears had loosened up just enough to make they super comfortable without looking baggy. As with the other MK products I own the construction is superb. All seams and stitching are in tact with no give or puckering Pick up a pair and you won't be disappointed.

    • Almost Perfect
    • 4 out of 5 Bison
    • I like everything about these pants and own several pairs. I wear them at my day job, dress them up to go out and throw them on to do chores. I'd wear them all the time if they came in black. Granite is cool, but sometimes a guy needs to wear black -- meetings, weddings, funerals or riding a motorcycle. Please, make them in black.

    • I can't get over how much I love these pants! I must own 20 pairs of the OMP's, but the slimmer fit of these is phenomenal! Better than the original.

    • 5 out of 5 Bison
    • I am 6 foot. 162 pounds. I bought the 31W 32L. Didn't know which size I needed waist wise, since this was my first MK pants. So I went on the safe side and sized up one. It always depends on the brand, between 30 and 31. I can put my whole hand, flattened, down my pants. Yet they don't fall down(even without a belt on) Length wise. Very happy. They fit just right. No dragging with shoes on. I would say if you are on the fence between sizes, and are considering getting the original mountain pants, go with the smaller size. For the broadway fit, I would suggest sizing up. Quality is great. I wear them almost every day now. Thank you

    • Go to - no matter what
    • 5 out of 5 Bison
    • So after months of hemming and hawing over whether or not to purchase these pants - I went for it and don't regret it one bit. I bought the broadway fit after seeing some reviews that the original can be too baggy, and was not dissapointed. These pants are the most amazing thing I've ever owned. I wear them to the office, the bar, and on the trail (usually in the same day) and they perform flawlessly at each one. On a recent trip to Oregon, I wore these bad boys every day (which included hiking, brewery tours, dinners out, and meetings) and they stayed fresh. Bottom line - buy these pants and you won't regret it.

    • I Never Was One for Lounge Pants...
    • 5 out of 5 Bison
    • ...but when I got home from work tonight I "got comfortable" by putting on a pair of Broadway Fit Mountain Khakis. Why? Because it made me feel manly, comfortable, and prepared for action all at the same time. Can you possibly think of another pair of pants in your wardrobe that can possibly do all of those things for you? It was like a sweet cocoon of rugged awesomeness.

This is my second pair of Mountain Khakis and they were an exchange for the Original Mountain Pant which I felt were a bit too baggy. I am 245lbs and 6'4" tall. These pants fit wonderfully. I was concerned that they would be too slim and make me look disproportionate (it's a real problem when you're a giant). They are much more snug through the legs and waist (the relaxed fit of the OMPs felt loose around my waist and seemed far too large everywhere else). I wouldn't want them to be any more snug or they wouldn't be as comfortable. I'd say that for my stature I am probably at the upper edges of comfortable wear-ability for these pants but they are by no means too small or look odd by any means. I have gotten more compliments since exchanging them than I have had on any other pair of pants in the past few months including my OMPs. People that saw me wear the OMPs complimented the appearance of the Broadway Fit after I made the exchange without even realizing that they were the same brand.

The customer service was amazing and timely. Because I was afraid of the Broadways being too slim and my distance from any outfitters that carried this particular fit they allowed me to try them on via their exchange program before I committed to either pair. The end result was a satisfied customer who will be purchasing many more pants of the same cut in the future.

Please don't ever take the Broadway Fit away because I simply haven't ever found anything as good anywhere else.

    • Not that happy
    • 1 out of 5 Bison
    • I have had 2 pairs of MK's now - 1 pair of the Original and one of the Broadway Fit. My review is the same as all of the others as far as the great fit of the Broadway Fit in comparison to the original. The product in both cases has looked great and fit pretty well. The issue I have had is that close to a year of normal wear and fabric begins to become very fragile. Easily rips holes in knees/legs, and blew out both pairs in the crotch and/or seat. Seems as if the fabric just gave up; no problem with stitching. It's too bad they won't last longer as I like the fit and style.
MK Response: These pants have been replaced under warranty.

    • Your search is over. If your like myself, you have backed off your interest because of the steep price. MK Broadway Fit (and regular fit) is worth your hard earned cash. If your not tough on your pants, turn around and go to GAP but if you hit the field with a chainsaw, laptop, hammer, hard hat, leatherman, or safety vest, then you need the MK pant your looking at.

    • The Broadway OMP is the single best-fitting pant I have ever worn. Too often have I worn pants that are just too baggy and loose fitting and these have solved that problem entirely. The slim look, the durable material, the lasting comfort; easily my go-to pant when it's time to get to work.

    • I have bought two pair of Teton twill pants and one pair of Alpine utility pants but really didn't like the fit because the legs are huge on me. The Broadway fit is perfect for me and don't restrict movement at all. MK won me back with the Broadway fit. Thanks.

    • I was recently introduced to MK at the outfitters store at the US National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, NC. I've been impressed with the quality of what I've seen on the shelves. I was in the market for a new pair of sturdy canvas pants and, after reading about the OMP Broadway Fit, decided to try on a pair. I was instantly impressed. I've grown so tired of brands that charge more just because of the name on the label. Too many items of clothing I've purchased over the last few years wear out so quickly and it's not as if I'm overly tough on clothes. The quality, the details, and the fit of the OMP Broadway let me know that I had found a durable pair of pants that will be with me for years. Thank you, MK.

    • The Broadway fit rocks! I was swimming in the AUPs, these fit perfectly. I'm 5'10', 155-160lbs, 32x32 fit just right. Although I'd get the 34 length next time to keep from pant leg rise while sitting. I'm not parting with these to get the correct size, I plan on ordering more. Can't wait for the AUPs in Broadway fit.

    • Good Fit
    • 5 out of 5 Bison
    • Overall, I much prefer the slimmer look of this cut than previous Mountain Khakis, but I did have a small problem with the Teton Twill Broadway Fit Pants- they are low-rise, which means I have to keep pulling them up to my natural waistline. However, even then they are much better looking than many other brand pants I've owned. So, imagine my wonderful surprise when I received the Broadway Fit Original Mountain Pant and they fit beautifully, and I had no issue with the rise. These are really great pants.
Notes from MK: The rise on these Broadway Fit pants are the same but due to fabric characteristics they may feel slightly different.

    • Go-to Pants
    • 5 out of 5 Bison
    • I end up in many different places for work: transit yards, manufacturing facilities, and even the normal office board rooms. These pants are the most durable khakis I've ever seen and give a more refined look than the Carhartts that I'm used to seeing in these environments. The best part, is that I can easily take them out on the trail and beat the hell out of them in rain, mud, thorns, etc. and they still wash up good enough to take to the office the next day. I plan on purchasing several pairs of these pants to take with me on all of my travels. An added bonus with the Broadway Fit...my wife says my butt looks good in them!

    • Great fit
    • 3 out of 5 Bison
    • This is my first pair of Mountain Khakis and really have to commend them for the Broadway Fit. I wish all my pants fit this well - it's not too slim at all, but still looks less sloppy than the Regular Fit. The gusseted crotch is great, and I love the Ranch and Yellowstone colors. The fabric is tough while still being somewhat soft and very comfortable. The slant front pockets are also really well-designed. With all that said, there is room for improvement. The triple-stitching down the inseam is overkill and just creates more thread to rub against each other. I think it would be just as durable with a single line of tighter stitching away from the seam that 'bites' into the fabric better. Along those same lines, some pairs I was sent suffered from sloppy stitching and low-stitch counts. I hope MK will improve the stitching issues so I can buy more of these otherwise great pants.
Notes from MK: Triple stitching is a signature feature of all MK pants and makes them durable enough to last for years of wear and tear. Some pants may have a manufacture's warranty issue with stitching and should be brought to our Customer Service Team's attention for a remedy.

    • My new favorite pants
    • 5 out of 5 Bison
    • Before these bad boys came along, I lived in my Original Mountain Pants. But for some reason they just seemed a bit baggy when I pulled them on for a more than casual occasion. As if MK could read my mind, a solution appeared in the Broadway Fit. This pant fits so well I now reach for these before any other pant on my MK shelf (yes, there's a whole shelf). I even ran 3 miles the other in these with the dog! I won't make a habit out of it but they are just that comfortable. I'll shut up now and you should stop shopping and just put these in your cart. You won't be sorry.

    • Broadway Fit........perfection!
    • 5 out of 5 Bison
    • The broadway fit is perfect for me because it is just as tough and rugged as the Original Mountain Pant, but offers a slimmer fit. I have always loved the OMP, but felt they were a little baggy for my body type. I am 6'0 tall and 170 lbs and like a slimmer fit. The Broadway Fit OMP is my favorite pair because they fit my body type perfect, are durable enough for my harshest work day, and stylish enough to wear out on the town with your favorite MK shirt! Be for warned that once you purchase these pants you are going to want a pair in every color!

    • I can't tell you how pleased I have been with these. Purchased them a little over a month ago (2 pairs actually) and have been basically living in them everyday since. Whether I'm welding bike frames in the factory or cozying up to the bar after a long day on the river, these are the pants Im probably wearing. The slimmer fit still provides a great range of motion but adds a little extra style.

    • 5 out of 5 Bison
    • Being 6’4” and just at 200 pounds, it is tough to find pants that fit properly but can still withstand the rigorous work load required when living and working in the mountains of northern Nicaragua. I have been wearing Mountain Khakis for the past 4 years because of their durability. The new Broadway fit pants are the best of both worlds! Better fit and designed just right to handle the rivers, rocks, mud and dirt that I have to deal with daily while working in the rural communities.

    • 5 out of 5 Bison
    • Love the new MK Broadway Mountain Pants. got them this week, and wore them for the first time this morning on my ride to work. Pretty much the same cut as the classic version, but not as baggy/roomy, which I like. (Meaning, they are not super skinny, so don’t be suspicious of the new fit). I’ve been wearing MKs for almost 10 years now, and the Broadways are a great pair of pants. Instant classic. Same soft, yet durable material and are good for work, play, & whatever. Buy these with confidence, and enjoy!

    • Wow! Didn't think it would be possible to improve upon the OMP but, MK has done just that! I have always loved all of my MK pants and especially the OMP; however, the only caveat that I ever had was that I wished they were slightly trimmer cut. Im 5'7 and 175 and the new Broadway fit has been the answer to my wishes. They are just right if you're a slightly trimmer build. They retain all the great properties of the original, gusset crotch, material, etc...just in a slimmer fit! I can't wait to add the rest of the colors to my wardrobe. Well done MK and thank you!

    • Renewed Loyalty
    • 5 out of 5 Bison
    • I grew loyal to Mountain Khaki's after they helped sponsor a cross-country bike ride that I participated on, however, the pants were always a big fit for me (5'10" 165lbs, athletic build, 32x30). I love the shorts, but the leg in the pants always seemed too full and I always felt like I had to pull them up to my belly-button just so the cuffs wouldn't scrub the floor...that or I always had to wear boots. Needless to say after many hours of trying to find the perfect fitting khakis for everyday wear, I went with a department store brand....

Now enter the Broadway Fit...the absolute perfect answer to what I've been waiting for this whole time. I loved the quality of MK, and now that the fit is updated, you can guarantee that I will soon be replacing all of my other khaki's and pants with MK's.

I ordered a 32x30 in the OMP and Teton Twill, and they fit true to size for me..

    • 5 out of 5 Bison
    • The Original Mountain Pant was my favorite item, my only complaint was the fit isn't very trim. These new Broadway Fit OMPs are perfect. Great fit, still just as tough, but now you can dress them up. Just go up a size. I'm normally a 33/32-34 and these were way to snug in the 33/32, I went up to the 34/34 and they're perfect with just a little extra room to allow for a bit of shrinking after the first wash and dry. (I'm a little over 6'1 and about 180-190 pounds) Great pants! Great fit! These are a new classic.

    • Wow, super impressed with the Broadway Fit OMP. My beloved original OMP's have now been replaced with the new tailored fit of the Broadway and I had to have a pair in all colors. The fit is a good bit slimmer than the original and fits my lean 6'3" frame much better and the gusseted crotch still allows for plenty of movement on or off the trail. These pants fit in perfect whether your shouldering a pack and headed to the backcountry, hanging around the office, or throwing back a few brews at the bar.
