- People don't typically get real fired up about shorts, but when you're in and out of a hot summer river as much as I am, you learn to appreciate the little things. (I striper fish in Atlanta's Chattahoochee, where it's hot and steamy, all summer long).
  Because these dry so fast, you get less chafing (and associated injuries if you get my drift). The gusseted crotch also means you've got a little space when you sit in a canoe seat for hours on end.
  Smart features like the vented pockets to let water drain (works a lot better than rivet holes on other water shorts) and the way the cargo pant pocket is cut so it won't billow out also make these shorts awesome.
  Literally the best river shorts I have ever worn.

- My granite creek shorts are my short of choice weather I am on the water guiding, sitting by the camp fire and hiking in the hills. They fit great, dry quick and can withstand all the elements I endure when out in the field. I have been waiting a long time for a pair of shorts that I can fish in day in and day out without wearing out and MK has come up with my solution. I will definitely be buying a second pair for next guiding season.

- MK’s Granite Creek Shorts are a great addition to the MK line. I tested these shorts out recently on a safari in Namibia and they performed marvelously. The shorts were able to withstand the harsh Namibian bush without tearing, grabbing, or being too noisy – which made hunting all the more enjoyable. The shorts stain/water resistance allowed me to not worry about washing them every day and I didn’t worry about set in stains if they did get wet. The moisture wicking fabric was a plus keeping me cool and dry on long, hot hikes through the bush. Overall, these shorts are the best shorts in my wardrobe and are my “go-to” pair for summer outdoor activities.

- Granite Creek Shorts have quickly become my "go-to" shorts. The design is well thought out with zippered pockets and a nice loose cut. The fabric is breathable and stretches so they work with most outdoor activities but still retain style points. The shorts seem pretty durable and have held up better than most. Now I'm just trying to decide what color to get next.

- I have truly enjoyed these shorts this summer. I have worn them in multiple situations and have been pleased each time. I like the light weight material. Breathes very well and drys great. They were my favorite pair of shorts to wear all the Allstar baseball games this summer.

- Took 3 pairs of these shorts on a trip. The style, the zippered pockets, and the fit were perfect for the trip. While hiking around, I could carry a number of items in the various zippered and non zippered pockets. I did not want to change into a bathing suit every time I went swimming. These shorts were great in the water and they dried out as fast as a swim suit since the shorts are made out of nylon. What really made me happy was that the shorts were wrinkle free even after swimming in the ocean several times with them. There is no equal to these shorts. Simply the best !!!

- This is a great pair of shorts that dry quickly, have zippered protection as well as open pockets. Plus they look good enough to wear as regular shorts. They'll get you down the river.
