The coat retains a good bit of heat, it is comfortable to wear and work in and maneuver in. Fits and looks great. The low end of the scale of quality down fill, 450 fill power, (although They don’t state the weight of how much 450 fill power is used), leaves many plumes jutting outside of the coat (and even within in, at times poking me in the arm or back). I expect that should reduce as my wear time increases. The cuffs are tight, which is good, but I’ve found that I have to remove my watch in order pull the coat off my wrist area. The cuffs have a tightening strap that uses Velcro, however it’s basically useless bc the cuffs are already so tight it ends up being there just for looks. I’m 6’0 and 220 lbs, and it fits the chest great. For the price of this product ($220+), other companies with a higher down fill power and quality product are out there in the $180+ Range. The stitching on the garment appears to be acceptable, however it’s clear the Velcro is lower quality...the YKK double sided zipper sticks if it is accidentally brought up some without its mate. It’s a solid 3/5, if it was $180 it might contend to be a 4/5. If the cuff issue was resolved with a higher down fill power, it would definitely be a 4.5/5.
