A great coat, a bit tight
I have used this jacket for more than a year. It is very well built, stylish (maybe the logo would be better on the arm rather than front) and comfortable. It runs slightly tighter ( I am 5.10 190 LBS bought Large) than other jackets. It is a warm jacket till 40f, below that I need to add another warm layer . I bought another one for my son because he was constantly stealing mine !FLFsh NY | February 16, 2018
Really Nice Coat but Might Run Small...
This really is a well made, warm and stylish coat. My only issue was with sizing; an XL is a just a tad bulky but a Large was tight around my chest. Sticking with XL to accommodate layers. Perhaps this coat is not designed to be a winter coat, rather a nice warm coat to throw on to go to work or for short outings on colder days or perhaps I need to either drop or gain a little mass so I am no longer on the sizing fence. In any case, great product, but based on my personal experience, be aware that you might need to size up if you're using this for a winter coat that you'll be layering up underneath.Micropterus | December 6, 2017
Keep up the good work...
Keep up the good work...love the coat, fits well...only added comment is: pocket for the hand warmer should be thicker to keep the hands much warmer :-}Edwin Nakasone | May 31, 2017
I am a big fan of stretch fabrics in my clothing. The Ranch Shearling coat has that to offer with its durable stretch cotton outer layer. I like my cloths to move with me during my daily activities and this garment definitely performs well with having stretch features. A least once a day I am hopping on a bike riding around town and having a stylish coat that is warm, comfortable and moves well with the body are all things I look for when purchasing a coat. The guesset on the arms add for extra movement and provide more comfort during activities. Having two chest pockets and hand pockets is a bonus, because I like to evenly distribute my phone, wallet and keys while commuting around town. I really like the faux leather on the collar and the shearling pile liner, it adds big time style points and at the same time it provides great warmth during cold winter days. This coat has some good weight and it layers well, although I have found that even with just a tee shirt as an underlayer this coat keeps me very warm. I give this coat a two thums up and it is definitely built for the mountain life.Matt Moosa | March 9, 2017
Extremely warm and feels very durable yet has a soft external feel (versus a stiff canvas material like most Carhartt jackets or similar). It's well refined. Will look great with a pair of jeans. I am a 49 or 50R in a sports coat and the XXL fits me perfectly. The sherling liner is kind of linty; I tried it on with a black shirt though. This will officially replace an old LLB barn coat that has seen way better days out in the field. Several mentioned pocket size as small; I don't disagree but will not call them super small. As a bigger guy with bigger hands, I am okay with the size. My hands are happy campers within them. On a scale of 1-100, this is a solid 90. I'd go 95 if it weren't for the lint factor. Two thumbs up!Bradley C. | December 30, 2016
