Great pants with misplaced pockets
I have four pairs of Granite Creek pants and practically live in them and so my review is based on several years of heavy use wearing Granite Creek. The new Trail Creek pants are excellent pants but I would prefer the cargo pockets on the side. Yes, the front pockets are more easily accessed while sitting and this is good for travel. However, front pockets are not good for hiking/walking because whatever is in your pocket is constantly rubbing your front thigh. Also, closing the zipper on the front cargo pockets sometimes requires two hands when standing. These pants have excellent breathability and range of movement. The zippers and material appear improved over the Granite Creek pants. Recommendation: for Trail Creek version 2, move the pockets to the side and add a zipper to at least one rear pocket; I've found good quality zippers provide better security and outlast velcro with heavy use. Besides the front cargo pockets, these pants would get five stars.James Harvard | May 8, 2017
Great warm weather pants............
These are excellent pants for warm weather wear. I am a licensed Fly Fishing guide and live in synthetic pants. Whether wet wading or rowing my drift boat, these pants fit the bill. Confortable, durable.....and they look sharp. Nice!Capt. O J Chartrand Jr | April 5, 2017
