At 5'9" and 210#, the large fits very nicely. It's not snug nor does it feel like a big sack. Alone it is heavy enough for a fall or spring jacket but the wind does work it's way through. The "Twilight" pattern is subtle. This jacket will be worn for many years to come.
This garment was purchased as something to wear as an extra layer during the deep-freeze winters in North Dakota, yet has turned into a daily wear. It's perfect for a mid-layer under a parka...not too bulky or loose. And it's also perfect to wear as an outer layer on a mild day. The pockets are easy to get into and the chest pockets are perfect for carrying a large phone or jotter. This jacket was a great purchase and will get a daily workout this winter! The only thing that would make it better would be a two-way zipper.
It fits perfectly. My boyfriend is 5'10" and 170 lbs with an athletic build(large chest, small waist with wide shoulders) and wears a medium. The sleeve length is perfect. The torso fits like it should and is not too big. It is hard to find a good jacket that works with his build.
