Mountain Khakis gives back to Charlotte Rescue Mission

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Mountain Khakis®, a leading premium outdoor apparel outfitter for Men and Women, teams up with Charlotte Rescue Mission to lend a helping hand to those in need.

In the spirit of giving back and coming together as a community, Mountain Khakis was honored to donate multiple clothing racks and 20 complete outfits curated by their employees for individuals involved at the rescue mission to aid in their upcoming interviews.

“We feel it’s very important for local businesses to support local economies and communities and we’re making it a mission now more than ever to engage in our community to help bring more good and positivity. What the Charlotte Rescue Mission is doing is an amazing endeavor to help the next generation of community leaders get the right start to be able to continue to grow our wonderful city and we are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of that.” - Adam Webb, Creative Director

"At Charlotte Rescue Mission, we believe in affirming the dignity of each person we serve. Clothing can give a person the confidence they need to themselves as the strong, competent people that they. Mountain Khakis donation allows us to provide our graduates with clothing they could wear to job interviews as they transition out of our program, setting them up for success.”

- Sarah Ann Schultz Communications and Marketing Manager

Charlotte Rescue Mission is a faith-based organization that serves people at the intersection of homelessness and addiction.  We provide residential recovery services through Rebound for Men and Dove’s Nest for Women and Children at no cost to our residents. Graduates have the option to remain engaged with the Mission through our Recovery Living program, which affords participants the opportunity to remain in safe, recovery-oriented housing while working, saving money, and planning for their future.
