This short boasts the signature features of our outdoor collection in a heavyweight 10.4 oz cotton canvas. We've kept the original details of the angled back seat panels with drop down pocket entry with hook and loop closure and an extended gusset for mobility. 6 total pockets to keep your essentials organized and handy. Clean lines with functional detail to ensure maximum durability and reliability.

"Just bought a few of these and compared the weight with my 10+ year old ones. Although 2. 5oz lighter and one pocket less, they are still a bomber work short. The phone pocket is a little big for my iphone SE, but I love these shorts. (And the front pocket they got rid of, I didn't care for anyhow)"

"I have had at least 10 pairs of the Alpine Work Shorts over the years. They hold everything I need on the job and are very heavy duty. I note that the current version of the AWS is not made with organic cotton anymore, and the internal grosgrain waistband has also been removed from the style. Still a great tough short!"
