At Mountain Khakis, everything we design is crafted with a functional purpose. We ask ourselves: what is the customer's need, how do we solve for that need, and why is our product superior? At the end of the day, we are in the business of enhancing our customers' experience in the outdoors and in life. If our product isn’t exceptional, we won’t make it.
2. PRECISION ENGINEERING
Our technical design team meticulously oversees every measurement and detail. At a minimum, we have no fewer than 60 points of measure in our pant designs. We sample our products through multiple rounds to test, measure, and adjust with incredibly low tolerance margins to ensure our product is executed precisely. Importantly, we have a research & development (R&D) process that involves field testing our new releases across a variety of body shapes before we release our products
3. Particular attention to trims & details:
We sweat the small stuff. Whether it's selecting the best-in-class YKK zippers for quality and reliability or adopting Sorona™ by Dupont as our insulation fill, our truth is in the detail. Our product team reviews many alternate trims and ultimately selects the trims we believe will perform best and exceed customer expectations. We don’t select trims based on price, which is another reason why our products stand the test of time and provide the ultimate durability.
4. Passionate Manufacturing Partners:
We only partner with factories that are masters of their craft. Our product team travels to our factories to ensure the perfect partnership and that manufacturing techniques and standards meet our Mountain Khakis standards. If the factory isn’t contagiously passionate about their processes and their craft, we won’t partner with them.
