Evokes the quality of garments made long ago.

The fabric is soft and comfortable. It is clearly well made and I expect it will be durable. The pants evoke memories of pants (no longer available) from J. Crew that I wore to the ground as though they were jeans. Actually, these are even better engineered because they are appropriate for office and are ready for outdoor activity. Old style quality is available again.

Almost perfect

These are the only pants my hard-to-fit husband will wear. If only the pockets were made from sturdier fabric- I've had to mend the front pockets on all.

Not as good as original

The Mountain Khakis that I just received are a far cry from the originals that I bought about 6 or 8 years ago. This fabric is softer and seems to be lighter and weight than the originals. The originals had a sturdiness that made them feel impervious to wind and foul weather.

Favorite Pant

These are my husband’s favorite pants and have been for several years. They work well in an office setting, on a job site, for a night out or a hike in the woods. Very versatile! The button on the back pocket my husband carries his wallet in comes off frequently and the front pocket he carries his keys in often splits open - this is the reason for the 4 stars.

Excellent. classic khakis'

I have been wearing this style of khakis now for 3 years. I love them. They are roomy, comfortable, and stylish. I do like the slight stretch that one of the other MK styles has but these retain a little more class in their rigid fabric. I wear them daily to teach high school science classes, out on the weekends with my wife, and anywhere else that warrants a good pair of khakis, and never feel restricted or uncomfortable. The first few pairs I ordered 3 years ago were 31x34's but they either shrank a bit or I grew a bit and I now wear a 32x34. I'm 6'0" and 150 lbs. *my wife also says my butt looks good in them so that's a plus for her.
