But buttonholes are too small!

Great shirt that has buttonholes too small! Please hire a competent buttonhole designer and fire the present one.

The search is over

I have been searching to find the perfect hiking shirt for two years. After purchasing the Trail Creek shirt, my search is over. It checks off all of my must have boxes and then some. Light weight, wick away, UPF protection, plenty of pocket storage is standard for most vented shirts. The Trail Creek has that, but goes well beyond with great design details. I purchased the plaid patterns in Freestone and Cornflower. They are attractive and understated. They go the extra mile with a pocket to hold your glasses, sewn in Chamois to wipe your spectacles, and side panels on your front and back that act like gussets. That brings tremendous freedom of movement needed for hiking, biking, etc. The back vents are neatly placed vertically at the sides. That makes them less visible, but every bit as effective as the typical back yoke vent. As always, I love the fit of MK button down shirts. Relaxed fit, but not baggy. I typically tuck my shirts in, but the length fits me perfect to wear untucked and still gives a neat appearance. For me, that is hard to find. Finally, I need to mention how beautifully packaged MK button down shirts come. Their product is not inexpensive, and they treat it that way. The shirts have collar boards to protect the shape, folded with tissue paper and butterfly clips to keep the product from shifting in transit. I give this product a 9.9 on a 10 point scale. One feature I would like to see them add is eyelet holes under the arms for added ventilation. In conclusion, great functional hiking shirt.
